ACCESSSS is a service to help provide current best evidence for clinical decisions. It conducts searches simultaneously in several evidence-based information services (online evidence-based texts, evidence-based guidelines and pre-appraised journal publications). ACCESSSS also provides email alerts to newly published evidence in the user’s chosen area(s) of training/interest.

ACP Journal Club

ACP Journal Wise

ACP JournalWise searches and filters the most recent articles from the top 120 medicals subspecialties. Coordinated by the McMaster Health Knowledge Refinery, method experts and practicing clinicians read more than 120 journals to identify sound articles and rate them for relevance and newsworthiness.

CLOT+

CLOT+ provides a continuously updated collection of high quality and highly relevant clinical research papers, and provides subscribers with both alerts of articles at the time of their publication, and a cumulative, searchable database.d rate them for relevance and newsworthiness.

DynaMed

DynaMed delivers the most current and accurate, evidence-based content for practicing clinicians. Our multidisciplinary team systematically and objectively surveys emergent scientific literature and clinical practice guidelines. Relevant information is captured, appraised, and synthesized rapidly into DynaMed’s clinical content, with 6 rounds of updates a day on the site.

EBM Guidelines

EBM Guidelines is a unique, concise and easy-to-use collection of clinical guidelines for primary care combined with the best available evidence. Continuously updated EBM Guidelines follows the latest developments in clinical medicine and brings evidence into practice. The collection is the key source of practical information for primary care and a powerful tool reflecting real clinical experience.

EvidenceAlerts

EvidenceAlerts is an Internet service that notifies physicians and researchers about newly-published clinical studies. Researchers at the McMaster Health Information Unit find the highest quality studies, reviews, and evidence-based clinical practice guidelines from 112 premier clinical journals and these articles are rated by practicing physicians for clinical relevance and interest. Alerts are curated to your own clinical interest.

Helsebiblioteket.no provides free access to professional procedures, encyclopedias, databases, journals and other knowledge resources for health personnel.

KT+

KT+ provides access to the current evidence on “T2” knowledge translation* (ie, research addressing the knowledge to practice gap), including published original articles and systematic reviews on health care quality improvement, continuing professional education, computerized clinical decision support, health services research and patient adherence. Its purpose is to inform those working in the knowledge translation area of current research as it is published.

McMaster Optimal Aging Portal

The McMaster Optimal Aging Portal offers direct and easy access to evidence-based information about how we can stay healthy, active and engaged, and how to manage our health conditions, as we grow older.

PAIN+ CPN

PAIN+ CPN is a Knowledge Translation initiative of the Chronic Pain Network and was created by the Health Information Research Unit at McMaster University, as part of the McMaster Premium Literature Service, McMasterPLUS. PAIN+ CPN is updated regularly and provides access to current best evidence from health care research to help inform health care professionals, individuals living with pain and caregivers.

Public Health +

Public Health + is a database of only high quality pre-appraised studies and reviews relevant to public health. This database was designed to help busy public health practitioners access high quality and newsworthy evidence.

REHAB +

REHAB+ is a service made available by the Canadian MSK Rehab Research Network in collaboration with the DeGroote School of Medicine’s Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence & Impact Health Information Research Unit. It incorporates the McMasterPLUS^TM email alerting system and searchable database of best evidence from the health care literature of particular interest to rehabilitation professionals. It is supported in part by a grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

STAT!Ref Evidence Alerts

The STAT!Ref Evidence Alerts system provides e-mail delivery and access to evidence-based medicine (EBM) information from current research of over 130 premier clinical journals. The STAT!Ref Evidence Alerts system works with McMaster University (McMaster PLUS) delivering pre-rated EBM alerts that are qualified, then rated for clinical relevance and newsworthiness by a panel of practicing physicians. STAT!Ref Evidence Alerts offer a range of healthcare disciplines that can be chosen delivering relevant and meaningful EBM information focused on your healthcare interests, helping with your clinical decisions.
